After a week of rumors and misinformation funeral arrangements are coming together and Michael Jackson will make his last public appearance at the 20,000 seat stadium on Tuesday. Insiders have said giant screens will be erected outside for the countless legions of fans who will never gain entry.
Rumors and lazy network-news anchors have had the event located everywhere from the Neverland ranch to the LA Coliseum, but after discussions between the Staples bosses and Barnum and Bailey’s, who are due to move into the center the following day, the $370-million arena is now first-pick for the task.
The service will also engage the Nokia theater, situated next door, plus the vast open plaza that surrounds the two venues. How tickets will be sold is still undecided at present.
